I can confirm this also happens on elementary OS 6 with nvidia-driver-470. I tried to add a limit to /etc/systemd/journald.conf, but it didn't help at all. Finally I managed to limit the log size using this tutorial: https://askubuntu.com/questions/184949/how-do-i-limit-the-size-of-my-syslog
