Binary package hint: avidemux
Avidemux crashes when attempting to transcode from an uncompressed AVI
to VCD (lavc) in an MPEG video container. With default single pass
quantizer settings it crashes. With default single pass bitrate
settings it crashes. With default dual pass settings I receive the
error : "Internal error with context for codecCODEC_ID_MPEG1VIDEO. Did
you use too low / too high target for 2 pass?" after the first pass and
then it crashes. It does not matter what I set the target bitrate or
the filesize to respectively, it still throws the error and then
crashes.
