@kmiksi, actually, I think that your proposed workaround enhanced the problem. The error messages from my previous post started to show up after I've run the sed command you've proposed and I think this happened because the file `snappy.mo` is a binary not an ascii text file. I have reverted my changes by running: ``` sudo apt --reinstall install language-pack-pt-base ```
And now I have only the original error message: ``` $ snap --help 2021/09/16 21:43:52.882927 main.go:176: description of prepare-image's "<target-dir>" is lowercase in locale "pt_BR": "o directório de destino" O comando snap permite instalar, configurar, atualizar e remover snaps. ... ``` -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1932579 Title: snap pt_BR locale shows warning every time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/language-pack-pt-base/+bug/1932579/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
