FWIW, in Ubuntu 20.04 a bcrypt hash generated with -B in the provided
htpasswd (that uses their own implementation), can be used by crypt(3):

"\$2y\$05\$xGcVN3jyU43rgH/jtc0mG.wMEYmvXBjdZtBc5R1jFYD83aaOTWiqa"), "\n"'
