The Hardy Heron Alpha2 release should be out tomorrow (Dec 20). If you can please test one more time with the Alpha2 LiveCD that would be much appreciated. I'll update this report once it is available. If the noise still exists, can you please describe it in more detail?? Does it occur only on boot, or remain after you boot and continue running?
