Hi Norbert, The situation still exists. I'm running Ubuntu-Mate 20.04.02 fully updated on a Dell Inspiron 7995 with NVIDIA GTX 960m graphics . The window control buttons are a fixed size in relation to the Window title font size. See the attached screen shot. If you increase or decrease the window title font size the window control buttons remain fixed.
