HP 500 laptop (RQ260AA) Pentium-M, with Gutsy installed. EXACTLY the same problems happen in exactly same situation: closing the lid (=blanking the screen) but also after suspending to ram or disk. >From my observations I'm able to bring my laptop back to normal doing >suspend-to-ram and waking it up.
