Just installed fresh Linux Mint 20.1 XFCE. With Thunar v1.8.14 the problem persists:
Moving a file from local to mounted smb share (two thunar windows) and then back again works: refresh ok. Moving a file from remote to a bookmark (e.g. Documents) will not trigger a refresh on the mounted drive/share.
