rcj and I had just been discussing this in relation to a new arm64 image. We are currently re-enabling the file for EC2 arm64 in our EC2 specific code. I took the workaround from our EC2 and implemented in our test image. We agreed that we'll need to get 999-cpc-fixes worked out more.
