Public bug reported:

When the settings in System-Settings -> Startup and Shutdown -> Desktop
Session is set to "Restore previous session", discover does not respect
it.

>From the first time you use discover, then at every login discover gets
opened. If you close it and logout, then login again, that piece of
session information gets lost and discover keeps opening its window.
