Hi David, Personnaly it's been more than a week that I use it with Firefox as my main browser, and I never experienced what you describe. Even, I don't see how it could be possible.
I think that your issue, is related to another reason (firefox config or plugins, F8 keystroke malfunction, touchpad default ...)
