Turns out this was fixed in Orca Master, but because current Daily builds still 
use Orca v3.38.0, this fix hasn't made it into the distribution yet. For 
background info, see a reply to my issue I filed against MATE desktop: 
https://github.com/mate-desktop/mate-terminal/issues/382#issuecomment-805599217.
 So it should definitely be made sure that, despite the whole of Ubuntu not 
updating to GNOME 40 for 21.04, Orca is updated to a revision that contains 
this fix.
