Okay, after turning on gnome-vfs-monitor files started showing up immediately without needing a refresh in Nautilus. I'm not sure that turning on gnome-vfs-monitor was directly related to the fix as I've been pulling regular updates and made some desktop theme changes since this bug report was filed. Also, I changed the theme from the default Human theme around the same time this issue resolved itself.
I'm attaching the dmesg file anyway. -Paul On 12/10/07, albert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Thanks Paul. > Can you please add the file /var/log/dmesg as attachment to this bug > report? > Secondly, can you please check if gnomevfs-monitor detects the downloaded > file?
