** Description changed: Binary package hint: dolphin-kde4 In dolphin, I have enabled View > Show hidden files, and I have set View > Adjust view properties to: Show hidden files = checked Apply view properties to = All folders I then clicked Apply, then Yes, then clicked OK. When I restart dolphin, - all of these settings are gone. I can't figure out how to "show hidden - files" by default in dolphin and have that behavior be permanent. It is - my opinion that if we are going to keep dolphin as the default file - manager, it should be much more robust, flexible, and bug-free. + these settings have reverted back to the defaults. I am trying to "show + hidden files" in dolphin and have that behavior be permanent across + sessions.
