Public bug reported: [ Impact ]
An error during enrollment prevents other enrollment to happen. [ Test case ] With a real fingerprint device (harder) or with fprintd mock runner: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/3v1n0/fprintd-mock-runner/ 1. Enroll a finger 2. Cause the enrollment to fail (unplug the device if possible or enroll a previously enrolled finger if the device supports it) 3. Go back 4. Select a finger again and be able to enroll it 5. Enrollment should start [ Regression potential ] Dialog won't allow user to show the fingers enrolled or enroll at all. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Medium Assignee: Marco Trevisan (Treviño) (3v1n0) Status: In Progress ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Medium Assignee: Marco Trevisan (Treviño) (3v1n0) Status: In Progress ** Also affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Focal) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Focal) Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu Focal) Assignee: (unassigned) => Marco Trevisan (Treviño) (3v1n0) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1915174 Title: Fingerprint enrollment error stops user to be able to enroll again To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1915174/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
