I just found that I'm actually on a testing kernel instead of generic : dpkg --list | grep linux-image ii linux-image-unsigned-5.0.0-37-generic 5.0.0-37.41+redmiv3 amd64 Linux kernel image for version 5.0.0 on 64 bit x86 SMP
This was to fix the issue I raised before: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1846148 However the wireless also had problem with wireless but I didn't keep track of that bug. I guess the fix for both the linked issue and wireless are in this test kernel that I'm using. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1910894 Title: Wireless worked in 5.0.0-37-generic doesn't work in 5.4 LTS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1910894/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
