Public bug reported:

Lubuntu 20.04.2 daily QA-test install failure
- dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)

testcase: custom partitioning with separate /home
purpose is to look for https://bugs.launchpad.net/calamares/+bug/1864787
SDA9 for /, re-use sda8 as /home

installation appeared to be nearing completion, then I heard the floppy drive
start up, it remained that way a bit then error window appeared :-
---
Boost.Python error in job "bootloader".
Command 'grub-install --target=i386-pc --recheck --force /dev/fd0' returned
non-zero exit status 1.
Installing for i386-pc platform. grub-install: error: unable to identify a
filesystem in hostdisk//dev/fd0; safety check can't be performed.
