Thanks. Unfortunately that crash report doesn't contain enough info, although it is from 17 December so that's good...
To avoid those earlier assertions (which I assume are not the crash itself) please try deleting your monitor layout config: rm ~/.config/monitors.xml And to avoid confusion over earlier crash reports please also: sudo rm /var/crash/* Then tell us about any new crash reports that occur. Please also keep the extensions in comment #5 uninstalled to avoid any confusion. We don't support those extensions so finding out they are the cause of your crashes would not be useful information. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1908608 Title: Crash to login screen when plugging in/out external monitor To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1908608/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
