I've got the same problem with network-manager. I'm on Kubuntu, and I'm using it with the Knetworkmanager applet.
Selecting a wireless network from the list won't get me a connection. Knetworkmanager says "Connection failure", and re-connects to the wired connection. However, unplugging the LAN cord causes network-manager to get connect to wireless instantly (often but not always). I'm attaching /var/log/syslog and dmesg for the timeframe of the event (choosing wireless network (eth1) in knetworkmanager, while the LAN cord is connected). ** Attachment added: "var-log-syslog" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10858783/var-log-syslog -- network manager unable to switch between wired and wireless connections https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160394 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
