I have lost count of the number of times I've tried this install. But it seems as if the problem lies in Systemd starting, or trying to start services which, for whatever reason, won't start, the result hanging the process, and there is no recourse. Music Player Daemon has done this nearly every time, but there have been times when the internet connection seems inhibited, again, I can't tell why. Since the thing won't actually boot, it is pretty hard to do anything about it, short of going to some distro that doesn't use systemd.
