Hi again, I just noticed that the sync has already been tried, and that it failed to build.
Looking at the build log, it is almost certainly just the fact that the debian package is built for python2.4 and ubuntu needs python2.5. The fix is a simple four lines, and is included in the attached diff. I don't have a hardy system to test it on, but the same patch has been verified to work on gutsy (which also uses python2.5). I presume this is no longer just a straightforward sync, but I live in the debian world and so I'm not sure what protocol is for changing the bug details -- I'll leave this to those who know better. Thanks - Ben. ** Attachment added: "Patch for python 2.4 -> 2.5 transition" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10853825/regina-normal-hardy.diff -- Please sync regina-normal (universe) from Debian unstable (main) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/175725 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
