I forgot to mention, but I: 1) Replaced my smb.conf with Lee Tae Hoon's smb.conf, and tried to reproduce the error. Everything still works for me.
2) Tried moving files (via terminal and using Nautilus) to the share. I can access them fine. 3) Tried attaching another disk to my Focal VM, format it using XFS, and creating shares there. I can access the shared and all files normally. In other words, I still can't reproduce the bug.
