Ah. Dont worry with me. Due to bigoted attitudes like these, I already migrated away to Arch from Ubuntu. In Arch, I can still fully use sc- controller with pylibacl (which is required for newer games that don't run on 18.04 anymore like Planetary Annihilation Titans) or even choose later versions. I still dual-boot with Ubuntu 20.04 because I support lots of novice users on group chats in Telegram, but your advice tells me that maybe I should have dropped that too.
