I'm not convinced you have a clean setup yet. Please don't install Dash to Dock, or any extensions, while working on this bug.
Please delete it all again: cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell rm -rf extensions and then log out and in again. Do not install any extensions. Now does the bug still occur after you have logged out and in again?
