I did a QA-test install of Lubuntu hirsute on dc7700 (with internet) [not sure it's important, it detected my location as perth; west side of australia instead of east side; about ~2722km out as the bird flies]
On reboot & first install, I got the prompt telling me there were updates & I entered password. I didn't get any error message. I then opened terminal and `sudo apt update`, and 38 updates were detected. I would normally `sudo apt full-upgrade` but instead opened discover and it detected the 38 packages. I hit apply in discover and the 38 updates were updated. (confirmed at terminal) I'll add myself as impacted by this issue as the initial update message implies updates were available, I entered password but none were applied. Discover though worked correctly for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1904269 Title: Apply full upgrade - fails with no error message To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1904269/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
