That seems to have helped a little. Installing ia32-libs still puts the 64bit 
version in that folder, but after replacing it, it is not overwritten every 
time I install something new. How it is handled when new updates are available 
i cant tell at the time.
If it stays that way i can live with it, but still there seems to be something 
wrong.
