While I'll investigate this myself once I've finished moving house and have the rest of my working environment back, it might speed things up if one of you could attach /var/log/syslog from the installer (or /var/log/installer/syslog if you've rebooted into the installed system).
If you were willing to re-run the installer using 'sudo env UBIQUITY_DEBUG=1 ubiquity' from a terminal window (be sure to use a password you don't care about, as the password will appear in the debug log file) and attach the resulting /var/log/syslog from that, then that would help even more. ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High Assignee: Colin Watson => (unassigned) Target: None => ubuntu-6.10 ** Summary changed: - [edgy knot 3] A Language problem with desktop cd + [edgy knot 3] selecting zh_TW produces zh_CN -- [edgy knot 3] selecting zh_TW produces zh_CN https://launchpad.net/bugs/61387 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
