@A, without the logs there is not way to know whether you're facing the same issue as Steph.
For the record, I tried generating random data (two tables, 10k lines each) and inserting into MySQL, and then performing the upgrade using a container with very limited resources, but even in this scenario the upgrade worked. I was thinking that this problem might be caused by a high system load during the upgrade, but now I'm not so sure. I have to think about what to try next. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1901708 Title: package mysql-server-8.0 8.0.22-0ubuntu0.20.04.2 failed to install/upgrade: installed mysql-server-8.0 package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-8.0/+bug/1901708/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
