Now I have tested how mkusb can create persistent live drives with Thomas Schmitt's modifications with the xorriso command line.
It is still working when using usb-pack-efi (and the default GPT) - in the Lenovo V130 in UEFI mode with secure boot and - in the Dell Precision M4800 both in BIOS mode and UEFI mode -o- With default settings (not using usb-pack-efi), a persistent live drive by mkusb works in UEFI mode (both in the Lenovo V130 and the Dell Precision M4800). But it does not work in BIOS mode. (This may be a headache for me, but not for the Ubuntu developers, and I mention it only for information.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1886148 Title: failure to boot groovy daily To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/1886148/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
