Hi, Ubuntu is not a rolling distribution, which means that once a new version is released packages are only upgraded to fix bugs. A new release of Ubuntu is cut every six months, normally including the most up to date versions of all the packages.
The next release of Ubuntu that will include nmap >= 7.90 is likely to be 21.04, to be released in April 2021. ** Changed in: nmap (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1898402 Title: Upgrade nmap package from 7.80 to 7.90 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nmap/+bug/1898402/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
