Public bug reported:
SRU Justification Impact: The upstream process for stable tree updates is quite similar in scope to the Ubuntu SRU process, e.g., each patch has to demonstrably fix a bug, and each patch is vetted by upstream by originating either directly from a mainline/stable Linux tree or a minimally backported form of that patch. The following upstream stable patches should be included in the Ubuntu kernel: v5.8.13 upstream stable release from git://git.kernel.org/ Linux 5.8.13 clocksource/drivers/timer-ti-dm: Do reset before enable dm: fix bio splitting and its bio completion order for regular IO KVM: arm64: Assume write fault on S1PTW permission fault on instruction fetch io_uring: ensure open/openat2 name is cleaned on cancelation s390/zcrypt: Fix ZCRYPT_PERDEV_REQCNT ioctl mm: don't rely on system state to detect hot-plug operations mm: replace memmap_context by meminit_context mm/gup: fix gup_fast with dynamic page table folding mm, THP, swap: fix allocating cluster for swapfile by mistake dmabuf: fix NULL pointer dereference in dma_buf_release() MIPS: Loongson2ef: Disable Loongson MMI instructions media: cec-adap.c: don't use flush_scheduled_work() btrfs: fix overflow when copying corrupt csums for a message btrfs: fix put of uninitialized kobject after seed device delete kprobes: tracing/kprobes: Fix to kill kprobes on initmem after boot kprobes: Fix to check probe enabled before disarm_kprobe_ftrace() lib/bootconfig: Fix to remove tailing spaces after value lib/bootconfig: Fix a bug of breaking existing tree nodes mt76: mt7615: use v1 MCU API on MT7615 to fix issues with adding/removing stations s390/dasd: Fix zero write for FBA devices tracing: fix double free lib/string.c: implement stpcpy ALSA: hda/realtek: Enable front panel headset LED on Lenovo ThinkStation P520 ALSA: hda/realtek -
