GNOME-Clock 2020.09.23 - 13h42 GMT Sorry to sound like a noob here - I am not as technical as all the other posters here seem.
I have just today used Gnome-clock for the first time - downloaded from Ubuntu 20.04 Software "Ubuntu Software" app. It seems a fine clock but, as indicated above, the alarm does not work - it activates correctly but no sound is generated - the sound on my pc is working just fine otherwise. I have done 'sudo apt-get update' but this made no difference. Should I be doing something else? Many thanks for your help and patience.
