Binary package hint: kino
I have 2 partitions on a Dell desktop system... 1 is Dapper and 1 is
Gutsy. When I boot to Gutsy and capture video into Kino from my camera,
then export it as an MPEG, and playback the MPEG, the playback is very
choppy. Other MPEGs (i.e. downloaded) play fine.
When I boot to Dapper, Kino can capture and export the same video from
my camera fine.
