Public bug reported: Today I bought an LG E500-SP23P (http://www.galileu.com/store/nav.asp?c=1&f=18&s=65&p=8736) and I just can't install Ubuntu 64 bit version... When I try to run the live cd I receive a msg saying "Ubuntu is running in a low-graphics mode" and even whatever I choose it just hangs... I've tried to do CTR+ALT+F1 and done "sudo dpkg-reconfiure xserver-xorg" and put all the correct information and then I done "/etc/init.d/gdm restart" and finally entered in Ubuntu GUI. Then I've done "install" but it create a new file system called "/target" and after that didn't do anything :\
I've already tried to install Ubuntu x86 but even though it install correctly every time that I reboot the system graphics configuration changes which is very annoying and also my wireless card is not working properly :S Now that I that I bought a new computer because in my old one I couldn't run properly compiz , I just can't use Ubuntu :S ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't Install Ubuntu 64 bits on LG E500-SP23P https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/174779 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
