Out of desperation, I now tried to enable "Ignore selection" (I don't really use that feature anyway) in my Clipboard settings on KDE on both Host and Guest, and see if that changes anything (while still using the big fix for the time being).
I am trying that because I noticed that often, when the bug occurs, the guest's clipboard contains sequence of bits of pasted text that get longer and longer, sometimes from the beginning of the text and sometimes from the end... and that seems to suggest that it's related to my target text being progressively selected over time. I'll let you know if this changes anything. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1872527 Title: Clipboard doesn't work 100% of the time in Ubuntu 20.04 (in KVM guests) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qemu/+bug/1872527/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
