Same problem on Ubuntu 20.04 on Dell XPS. I am willing to go far to work around this. Would kubuntu, lubuntu, xubuntu or any one of these ressolve this screen resizing problem? Anything I can do to solvethis? I don't use any X11 feature beyond what was availabe 30 years ago, so I don't care for any features. What can I do to solve this?
