I'd switch from Kubuntu back to Ubuntu and get the same. Restricted-manager does not work if Regional settings is Russian. LANG=C sudo restricted-manager works. I think it's wrong. End user do not want to experiment with such command lines, he(she) just want to manage restricted drivers. Developers must correct this error. Make restricted-manager works in localized environment or add "LANG=C" to shortcut. Ubuntu 7.10 amd64. Sorry for my English :)
