Well, the bugfix above is "just" the libfprint part. There was another (but entirely independent) problem in fprintd (i.e. pam_fprintd) for which I have not posted an update yet. Things *should* be OK if you use the new libfprint build together with the pam_fprintd package from https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=45145177
