Sorry, more exactly: the header is updated immediately, in the hope that
the content would be refreshed upon succesfull connect. However,
when the connection fails: the failure is correctly reported,
but  refreshing the panel content is missing in this case:
The header remains the requested one, the content is the one
valid at the time of request. I guess either an additional refresh
or refreshing the header only upon a successful connect
would solve the problem.

BTW refresh:
When I have an active remote connection, and use a copy/move,
after finishing the operation the target panel is not refreshed automatically.
The manual refresh after finishing the operation corrects the panel.
My guess is again, that a content refresh operation is missing.
