Public bug reported:

When I install pychess on Ubuntu 20.04, nothing happens.

Looking in the taskbar, I see that it seems to be started, but no GUI is
showing up.
I can end it over the right click on the icon in the taskbar, but nothing else.

If I start PyChess over the command line, it starts normally.

Please fix this, as PyChess is the only chess GUI that can use even the
strongest chess engines like Stockfish and the only one who have
sophisticated commentary.

** Affects: pychess (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
