For secure boot to work, the distribution's grub is needed, as it contains the distribution's signing keys.
For now, as a workaround, we're using bionic's grub, for example: https://github.com/alkisg/ltsp5-uefi/blob/master/ltsp5-uefi#L49 Let's hope we hear back from the Ubuntu developers...
