I was able to resolve the issue by: mv /boot /boot.old zpool import bpool apt install --reinstall linux-image-generic linux-image-5.4.0-40-generic update-grub grub-install /dev/disk/by-id/$MYDRIVEID
I have no idea how bpool got exported but it seemed to happen about a month ago. I noticed because I was stuck on kernel 5.4.0-33 and my nvidia drivers wouldn't load any more due to the kernel and driver being out of sync. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1885234 Title: package zsys 0.4.6 failed to install/upgrade: installed zsys package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1885234/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
