Public bug reported:

when trying to paste the x-selection into a libreoffice writer window, a
strange and pretty useless scroll mode appears instead with a small
circular mouse pointer shape with two arrows. imho libreoffice should
respect the unix/linux/x11 tradition where middle click was always meant
for x-clipboard pasting.
