@rafaeldtinoco, I tried that but nothing changed:

Now If I do:

OPENSSL_CONF=~/.openssl.cnf openssl ciphers -tls1 -s

I get:

ECDHE-ECDSA-AES256-SHA:ECDHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA:ECDHE-
ECDSA-AES128-SHA:ECDHE-RSA-AES128-SHA:DHE-RSA-
AES128-SHA:AES256-SHA:AES128-SHA

However when I try to connect with MySQL I get:

ERROR 2026 (HY000): SSL connection error: error:1425F102:SSL
routines:ssl_choose_client_version:unsupported protocol

An on the server-side (5.7.27) I get:
"Bad handshake"

Qt applications cannot connect. Same "Bad handshake"
