Public bug reported:

I correctly setup my Gutsy Gibbon machine to use ldap authentication. I
installed auth-client-config libpam-ldap and libnss-ldap. I setup the
ldap.conf file, the pam config files and nsswitch.conf. When I restart
the required services, all is well but when I reboot my machine, it
hangs. It appears to be attempting to connect to the ldap server before
it has acquired an IP address via dhcp. Also, when I give my machine a
static ip it works fine. This seems to suggest that there is a bug in
the start-up scripts or the order of them.
