Yes, it does help. I'm expecting linux-modules-extra-5.4.0-33-generic installed, which carries iwlwifi.ko, but it's not. However you still finds iwlwifi module in the modules folder, so I'd need you to run a few more commands:
$ dkms status $ sudo apt install linux-generic The second one would install a meta package that depends on the latest kernel image/headers packages, inclusive of the missed linux-modules- extra one. The first is for diagnosis to see if we need some more steps to fix your system completely. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1882194 Title: Intel Wireless 7265 [8086:095a] Subsystem [8086:5010] not probed after kernel packages upgrade failures To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1882194/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
