Thanks for looking into the bug. This problem still exists in Feisty; I haven't made the switch to Gutsy yet so I'm not sure if the problem is still there in Gutsy.
Another thing I found it is that when the Zune's battery is completely dead and I plug it into my computer, it will start charging. Once the Zune has enough power to actually turn on, it does and this causes Ubuntu to recognize it so the computer stops charging it. Have any ideas what package might be causing this issue or what a solution might be? I'd be interested to know.
