I've found a workaround until the proper fix gets backported. This is not supported and may break things. Proceed at your own risk (there is a way to undo this).
Install the latest `mypaint-data` from the current Ubuntu 20.10 (`groovy`) builds. 1. Visit https://packages.ubuntu.com/groovy/all/mypaint-data/download 2. Download the .deb file from any mirror 3. Install via package manager (QApt, dpkg, Ubuntu Software, etc) $ sudo dpkg -i mypaint-data_2.0.*_all.deb $ # Example: $ # sudo dpkg -i mypaint-data_2.0.0+git20200502-1_all.deb If you want to undo the changes, you can downgrade `mypaint-data`: $ sudo apt install mypaint-data=2.0.0-2 The exact version may change! Check `apt-cache show mypaint-data | grep 'Version'`. I've put a bit more information about this workaround on the upstream MyPaint issue as well: https://github.com/mypaint/mypaint/issues/1064#issuecomment-632988335 ** Bug watch added: github.com/mypaint/mypaint/issues #1064 https://github.com/mypaint/mypaint/issues/1064 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1878578 Title: Some menu icons are missing To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mypaint/+bug/1878578/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
