Bogdan (elrohe) Oops. I couldn't save you the trouble. Sorry. It didn't strike me for about 12 hours or so since the update to alert the remaining affected people. During this time, after realizing that Pulseaudio has broken down again, I was trying if I can do with Alsa alone or if I could find any other alternative for Pulseaudio. However, I was unsuccessful.
It's nearing a month since I ran into this trouble by updating to 20.04 LTS and have run wall to post. There is hope. There is a new fix/update coming. It's already in the git. I don't know when it will be available in the updates channel.
