It appears Xorg is not working at all now, like the Nvidia driver isn't installed properly.
Please start by running: lspci -k > lspcik.txt and send us the resulting text file, so we can verify the kernel is OK now. Then try: 1. Uninstall the Nvidia driver. 2. Reboot. 3. Find any Xorg config files you might be created directly or indirectly and delete those. If you don't know what they look like then don't delete anything. 4. Reinstall the Nvidia drive via 'Additional Drivers'. 5. Reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1871573 Title: [Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 2] HDMI port can't be found To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1871573/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
